For a car or bike/moped?
If you are in the UK the minimum age is 17 for a car or (small) motorcycle. It's on the DVLA website but not easy to find.
This rumour of the driving age going to 18 is just that JUST a RUMOUR it keeps popping up but there are o plans for it. So you can get a provisional at 16 to ride a moped and once you are 17 it is then able to be  used for driving a car or small motor bike.
