Sea or Pool?

On holiday, are you down on the beach, playing games, rock pooling, swimming and snorkling in the sea and generally being active... or do you spend all your time lounging around on your fat arse by the hotel pool reading The Daily Mail, eating burgers and drinking cocktails?

Sea v Pool?

Well the farm I normally stay on doesn't have a pool - unless you count the deep pool in the burn which we have a morning bathe in and is FREEZING!!!

We tend not to do the beach either unless we go to Camusfearna which is gorgeous - and then we do ar$e about.

As for eating burgers and drinking cocktails? lmao - we are CAMPING! Therefore we live on cordon bleu food cooked by one of our number who is an excellent chef using one gas ring and the camp fire and all sourced from the local farm shop or landed at the harbour in Oban or caught by me and my mate (fish that is!). And we drink LOADS of whisky.

the sun is very drying and ageing and thats without the alcohol! I dont understand why people choose to do that :)
