Calibra oil pressure/battery gauge not working

I have just had to have a new alernator put in my Calibra. I picked it up on Saturday and all seemed fine. I then installed a new radio (a Sony CDX-GT620U) which my wife gave me for my birthday. Now the oil pressure gauge and voltmeter have stopped working.

Any ideas anyone?

Also, anyone know how to turn the radio on with the ignition off? I could do this with the old Blaupunkt but not the new Sony.
