Is it against the law to leave a dog in a car under any circumstances??

Does anyone know if it is against the law to leave a dog in a car - even at 9am, in the shade, in a cool, well air-conditioned car, with the window open a few inches, for 10 minutes?? I did this while taking my little boy into nursery and a lady threated to call the police! She told me I was breaking the law - surely not?

Try living next to constant noise and see how you like it.If you can't train your dog to not cause a nuisance then don't bl00dy well own one.

Daffy I do live next to one in fact 4 and it doesn't bother me AT ALL for some reason it never has! I would rather listen to them than the mother and her children living opposite the back fom me! And I have a child myself!
I wasn't talking about your situation anyway I was thinking of someone I no who whinges immensley over the the littlest whine!

I have a neighbour whose dog barked whenever she went out in the car and didn't stop until she got back. She didn't realize this because if she popped into mine it didn't bark; She only realised it when she took the car out and parked up to hear it. Anyway, she had it trained and now there's no problem.

I really dont understand why people cant just leave their pets at home when they know they are going to be left for ANY length of time........

You have responsibility to look after your pet and ensure it is healthy and well.....

it aint gonna be well if you leave it inside a pressure cooker for even 2 minutes... if you cant be responsible... dont have a pet.... and certainly dont procreate
