Don't enjoy time by myself.

As it is now the summer holidays, I've been inevitably spending time on my own, in the house, out and about, wherever.

I've been trying to get to know myself a bit better, and start to love myself, but I just get so bored being on my own. Even reading or music practice. It's not so much that the experience would be more fun if I was with other people, I just feel like I don't want to be on my own.

Not quite sure what my question is! Should I just stick it out and try to enjoy doing things on my own? I think it goes hand in hand with my fear that I'm going to end up alone.

Haha. I live with my mum. I'm at uni usually but have finished for the holidays. I've tried and tried to get a job but it's so difficult. Spend a lot of days job hunting and handing out cv's.
Do a bit of volantery work and meet people.

Self help books would be okay!

Sqad - would rather not be specific since I don't want to give too much away, as I think I've already mentioned in other posts what year I'm in, but it's a medical school in Scotland!

Thanks for the answers so far.
