Hello

May think I am a bit nuts, want to put a fireblade engine on a go kart, does anyone know if i have to get a custom made frame or can i adapt a kart frame to fit?

That sort of power will be tricky to use in a go kart, and you will have to overcome several problems!

if your planning to make a tarmac type go kart then you are going to have to sort out getting the drive through a differential to drive both rear wheels (a lot of go karts either only drive one rear wheel, or have a fixed axle driving both, neither would be a good idea with that sort of power (though the fixed axle would be fun for the 10minutes the tires would last!!))

Also you would have to put suspension on something that fast otherwise it would become uncontrollable at speed!

With all the problems you'd have to overcome it would be easier to buy a pre built chassis, or at least base your design on something that has already been done.
