While Maplin Electronics is one of my favourite shops, they can be a bit pricey for some items. That 9.99 price, in Chuck's link, is a good example.

The last time I bought a Scart-to-phono lead, the cheapest Curry's could offer was 19.99 (which makes Maplin look cheap!) but I got one in Tesco Extra for 1.97. I think that they've gone up quite a bit in Tesco since then (although they're probably still cheaper than Maplin) but they're often found in 'discount' shops (e.g. places like Poundstretcher) for only a pound or two.

I agree that the lead could be got other places cheaper be aware you need an scart out to phone in as they can be got both directions. (the one in my original link has a switch to set it to either direction)
