We have recently had 3 rooms plastered and even though the floors were covered there is now plaster on the wooden floor!! I have mopped up and scrapped but is there anything anyone else has tried to avoid me doing this every day - I know it will settle and fade away with time.

We are getting new flooring but not for a good few months yet - cant stand to see this every day!

Do you mean you're getting smear marks? If so, to get rid of them use polish, they go as if by magic!

Both smear marks and blobs of plaster - Ive been on my hands and near scratching them off but its like they are sneaking back overnight!

The polish only gets rid of smear marks. I use liquid beeswax polish but any proper polish works on top of that it smells lovely!
The only thing with the blobs of plaster is softening them with warm water, removing them and then a wipe of polish.
Bon courage!!
next time get decent plasterers they will leave no mess on the floor.
