When I try to connect to my hotmail account, it gives me a warning that hotmail's security certificate is no longer valid and advises me not to go any further.

Can I do anything to correct this?
prev macs has itunes for internet radio and downloads............................

Double click on the clock down in the bottom left of the screen and check your date is set correct.
