I have just just finished reading a collection of short stories by Jeffery Deaver called "Twisted" and I really enjoyed it.

Can anybody recommend any similar short story collections?

Jeffery Deaver in general is very good, I recommend The Vanished Man if you haven't already read it, although it's a novel not a collection. Nicci French wrote a novel called 'Beneath The Skin' which has 3 murder mystery stories that link together which you might like.
