                                 CHATS
|Hush you people,
don't yet speak
'cos A B chat
will come next week.

The boss is yet
to name the name,
that'll bring to one
some serious fame.

They'll get the cake
that's up for grabs,
and we will chat
till sick of gabs.

Then back to roost
to sleep quite well,
till next we have
some thing to tell.

..and when the chat room opened up,

Smudge took a sip from her coffee cup,

FP and some others followed in,

and THECORBYLOON was banned again.

The chatty threads became very large,

with many views from bernardo and Marge(B),

but whilst views were exchanged the AB ED did hoot,

because he'd locked us all in and wouldn't let us oot.

(Apologies for not quite getting a a proper rhyme for that last line, but it's the best I could come up with on the spot).
*Applauds both poems and their authors!*

Thank you...thank you....acw...'bows & curtseys'
Excellent work elgroucho..
Thank you netibiza as your words 'hush people' on one thread gave me a start.
Yes, well done to both of you, that certainly made me smile!

Twas the night before chatday & all through the house, Not a gremlin was stirring, not even a mouse.

The rules had been hung on the front door with care,
In hopes that ABers would all soon be there.

The Eds were all nestled, so snug in their beds,
And visions of chocolate cake danced in their heads.

When all of a sudden there arose such a clatter,
Eds sprang from their beds to see what was the matter.

The jukebox was blaring & spirits were high,
They'd broken in early & disaster was nigh.

They were dancing on tables & swinging from lights, Fighting in corners & demanding new rights.

The noise was quite deafening & language was blue, The mob was revolting, what could the Eds do?

But all in a moment the madness was over,
The panic receded it then came clear,
The Eds had been dreaming, a terrible nightmare!
It won't really happen, sleep well Eds - don't fear!!

Well atleast my name rhymes with something that the AB ed will not allow.
