Mobile operator logo removal

I have a sony ericsson z610i which has the orange operator logo acorss the middle of the screen, which is amazingly annoying as it spoils all the photos I have as my screensaver. Is there anyway of removing this. I know there are a few sites on the net that claim to do this but you never know which ones you ca trust.
