This is incredibly basic maths!

3.281 feet in a metre.

37 / 3.281 = 11.277meters

27 / 3.281 = 8.229meters

11.277 * 8.229 = 92.798square Meters
I get the impression that some of the people who post questions on here were right at the back of the queue when brains/intelligence was given out and expect others to do it for them. What amazes me also is that some people fall for it and give them the answer.
Come on now magicmerlin, and Chuckfickens some elderly folk can never grasp metric and still deal in pence. So don`t be so high felluting. A simple question was asked.
Carlton, I understand that some people have problems with metric, that is why I showed the working and not just gave an answer. I hope that in seeing how it is done (and how easily) that Neenee will be able to work out anything like this their self in future.
Thanks Chuck....I can't understand metric...so is my 12'x18' sitting room 20.062 square metres...or have I misunderstood....
this is bu66er all to do with metric/imperial, it is simple Arithmetic, end of!
