Might I be allowed to explain my oft used phrase "no big deal?"

Of course, I realise that ANY medical condition is a"big deal" to the person concerned whether it is a bleeing from the back passage, problems with their joints, onset of labour etc. Most people fear the worse and in appropriate cases I use the term "no big deal" to illustrate that it is not life threatening........to reassure them.

"No big deal" is a medical assessment of the problem.

I have offered the "olive branch" on 2threads which you haven't replied to. so I will offer it again.....friends?
