Sylvia Plath= top poet, ja?

Does anyone here agree with me when I say that Sylvia Plath is a top poet? My fave poems by her are 'Insomniac' and 'Mrs Drake Proceeds To Dinner'- or is the title '...to supper?' hmm...

Though I've not read Sylvia Plath, I get an impression that she wrote negative, depressive poetry and is overrated. Please enlighten me right or wrong

Yeah, I think it's fair enough to say that quite a few of her poems were based on her experience as a sufferer of depression, but I value the way that she has captured the feelings she had on paper. Also she wrote some other poetry, not so miserable, reflecting on positive experiences. Whether a poet is over rated or not, I believe, is a case of singular opinion. I personally don't think she is, but if you do, fair enough! :)
