and as i said in my post about selling my artwork, the photos i posted are of drawings or paintings from a couple of years ago, apart from the first one which is acrylic on canvas which shows the quality of which i am working at now.

I'm still shading that tulip in. (I get obsessed then do it for ages.)

thankyou coc that means a lot to me because until a few weks ago at parents evening my parents didn't realise how good i was and up until then had been saying that doing gcse art was a waste of time.

some of them are ok and hold promise, maybe you need a better camera. but the one with sun looks like one i have stuck on my fridge.

art is subjective and subject to intense criticism. if it something you aspire to do, then i wish you the best but you will have to put up with comments that may appear negative but are in fact well intentioned.

the one with a sun i did two years ago and looks quite good in real life, better than the b&w rose drawing and rose petal painting.

the one on the left is a photo i took and the one next to it is a painting of the photo. (took me ages . . .half and hour if i had homework and more if i had no homework, each day for 4 weeks (its nearly a3 size! ))
