Hi everyone! Despite being 62 years of age, I am endeavouring a trek of the Anapurna Range in Nepal to raise funds and awareness of BLISS, the premature and sick baby unit. Knowing how generous and caring quiz contestants are, I wondered if I could call on you for your support. Any small amount would be appreciated and I would be so very grateful. Please check out my verification at the link below. Thank you so much. Patricia

Hi Patricia
In 1972 my son was born at six months weighing in at 2lb 12 oz and suffered some brain damage. In 1985, although hemiplegic, Liam did a 10 mile walk round Watford for Bliss and raised over 200 mostly among his school friends (because of his age Mum had to walk with him!). It really hurt him and when I got him home I had to peel his bloodied socks and shoes off! I have saved the link and shall sponsor you (but not on line). Liam is now 36 and when I tell him I think he will want to sponsor you too. Good on ya! Dee

Hi Dee, what a wonderful inspirational story. You must be so proud of Liam. We are hopeful that Nancy will be able to walk unaided at sometime. She is now 3 years old and a very determined little girl. But if it wasn't for BLISS,she, and her identical twin Lola, might not be here at all. I will pass your story on to my daughter and I know it will give her great encouragement for Nancy's future. Hopefully my treks will help future premature babies. All good wishes and many thanks to you and Liam. Patricia
