I am contemplating replacing my gas cooker (with another gas cooker, not electric), but where to start. There are so many available. Has anyone bought a cooker recently that they are entirely happy with and would recommend. It would give me somewhere to start looking. Not too happy with my existing one which is a Cannon. Many thanks.

sorry for the late reply, you may have already bought one by now !

i'm a gas engineer and install and repair cookers on a daily basis. to be honest i would always recommend a Cannon, modern cookers are very flimsy but cannons always seem a bit more sturdy than the rest. saying that they have recently moved a lot of their production to poland so the quality may have suffered.

apart from cannons Stoves make nice cookers.

avoid beko like the plague !

Many thanks for that, good to get an insiders point of view. Still looking but will heed your advice about Beko.
