Right, I'm moving out of my house on Sunday, but until then, I'm the only one here - all my flat mates went this morning. I have no TV, no exciting food as Im eating out my freezer, and no car. Not really near the public transport. Basically, I need some witty ideas from you witty ABers to help me think of things to do within the home for the weekend, so I don't go mad with bordem! The more original the better! Oh, and on a student budget!

Not original or inventive, but go for a walk. (If the weather is good). Or a bike ride. Do you have other friends who'vw not moved away? Go visit them. You have the internet, so maybe try and find a googlewhack. Try not too stay in by yourself all the time. I found myself going a bit mad at easter when I was all on my lonesome.

Finish packing or if you already have check that you've forgotten nothing.
Run around the house naked.

gramer do you live opposite hannah333? Pamper yourself nice bubbly bath, bottle of wine some chocolates fave music then pour some tomato sauce over yourself when a good looking man passes by cry help and slide down the window when he comes in to help you ask him to lick the sauce off then Sunday on your way! Good luck!!

What about a bring-a-bottle/snacks  party on Saturday afternoon?  If you are a student you must be able to round up a few people, ask them each to bring someone else; maybe one has got a portable CD or tune in to a  music station on the radio;  or play games with singing/dancing forfeits, or just chat.  It might lead up to going to the pub. later.... that's Saturday taken care of.

1. visit a local fort or Victorian folly. You'll have to walk there of course

2. Go to the library and get out Ray Mears book on bushcraft. Go to the woods and reap nature's bountiful harvest (apparently squirrels are tasty)

Well Vinny is having an AB party on Saturday night, apparently ;o) !!
read a book, buy a puzzle book, listen to music, clean the house from top to toe. tidy the garden, go sit in the park
You could buy a soo dooku puzzle book, that should kill a day or fifty-three!
Alternatively find out your personality by playing a one person game of hide and seek. If you win you're an optomist, if you lose you're a pesimist. If it's a draw see a psychologist.
So what did you do - or perhaps, are you doing? Or....... how have you filled you weekend up?

Well, I have now moved out! Thought about the hide and seek, but I never was very good at that game! So, went for a walk, bought a puzzle book, and invited people over - take out food is better when there are enough people to make the delivery free, so I could spend time packing my kitchen up properly. Thanks for all your ideas!!!
