Looked to me like a lot of the contestants were miming - anyone else think that? Our girl was very nervous, especially at the start. Prior to the contest I thought she had no chance, but so many other countries went down the usual predictable path - boring ballads or loony tunes set to a Euro beat. Do you think anyone ever listens to this Europop outside of this contest? The performers tend to be in their teens or 20s, and I can't believe it's their type of music.

they have to sing live, but i agree it did look that some were miming and i know a bit about this business.
A lot of the main singers were miming. However to stick with the rules, there were other singers with the acts, singing live on stage, but off camera.
one singer was miming, but the actual singer was singing live (she was right at the back of the stage)- not sure which country it was.
Too professional with Webber & trained singer. Contest was for novices.
