mixed bag of weather here in Essex - rain, wind a bit of sun now and again.

Where is this great summer we are supposed to be getting ?

My hanging baskets have been in and out of the shed so many times, its like doing the Hokey Cokey !!!

I am in Hornchurch Essex rinkins - some of the plants in my hanging baskets have died from wind burn. As I said I have put some back in the shed and the others have dustbin bags wrapped around them (very attractive !!).

I thought it was going to rain heavy overnight, but it didnt - well not enough to fill my water butt up.

so true darren, so true. I went and bought some summer clothes last week - I think I will get a refund (then the sun will shine !!!!!).

I did have a litle greenhouse when I moved into my bungalow 3 years ago, langara - it was very run down, but I cleaned it up, draped some plastic sheeting over the top of it, as it leaked, made some work benches out of pieces of wood - I felt quite proud of it. Then came down one morning to find next door's tree had fallen straight through it. I could have cried.

Have a good weekend up in Norfolk - I love Norfolk, have had many lovely holidays there.

I quite like the colour green, Bobbi - I have recently bought a lovely cardigan in pea green, its lovelllllllllllllly.

do you know Bobbi - this is like Big Brother - they set the rules and us ~Abers are the housemates - Big Brother can change or bend the rules as and when they like !!
