Hi
I use MS Office 2007 and would like to be able to send a Word document direct by clicking send/email. I use Mozilla Firefox as my email but want to know how to set it up for use with Word documents rather that sending a separate email with the document as an attachment. Is this possible or do I have to set up Outlook or Outlook Express?

I thought Mozilla Firefox was a web browser, not an email program.

When you send an MS Word document by email, the document is an attachment.

If you use MS Outlook, you can compose a rich text email, in which you can use all the features of Word.
mozilla Firefox is a web browser not a e mail account.

you can use the g mail ,yahoo, out look and many more browsers to send the mails.
you need to set a Outlook Express E-mail client .
Please follow this web link here is full details how to set-up a outlook express account:

Thanks Smith 134. However, I don't want to use Outlook Express, just Thunderbird as it's my default email programme. Can I?
Microsoft Office includes a scripting language called Visual Basic Applications (VBA). It allows every aspect of Microsoft Office to be controlled plus the ability to start other programs.

MAPI enabled email programs have functionality to build and messages from an external command. The body text can be passed to the mailer in this process.

The VBA just needs to execute a MAPI interaction with the mailer.

I would be surprised if someone hasn't already written a VBA script to do eaxctly what you want. Try Googling MAPI VBA Thunderbird.
It will be better to you to setup Outlook which you have installed windows Office 2007 is much more reliable to use and also easy to configure. So you can try outlook 2007.
