Hi, my ps3 has stopped reading discs but i cannot find the manual that came with it in which is supposed to be the support number to call, has anyone got this or know where to find it as i am desperate now!

Download a copy of the manual from here. I haven't looked, but I'd bet my right nut there's a phone number on there somwehere as well - if not then my right nut says you'll find it in the manual once you've downloaded it.

I am having the same problems. Is your PS3 a 40 gig? cause 2 of my other friend had a 40 gig and they have a disc reading problem including mine. Does anyone know if it is a common problem whereby sony needs a recall on the ps3 as per trade and consumer act.
As sony are charging 99pounds if you are out of warranty this is a farce and breach of consumer areements in the uk.
