Comodo Firewall

My free version of the Comodo firewall is suddenly failing to initialise during booting on my Vista PC.

The main screen of the program appears after the desktop comes up and there's a bargraph on the main screen that shows progress in initialising the program. A tick appears in the area after a couple of minutes to confirm that the firewall is up and running.

I have no idea why this change in initialisation of the program has happened and I'm very concerned that until that tick appears on the screen, I have no firewall (I'm on broadband).

Does anyone know what I can do to get Comodo to boot faster and prevent it displaying this window.

Many thanks.

Have you tried downloading the latest version, uninstalling your version and reinstalling? That might fix it. I use Zone Alarm free firewall on my laptop, had no probs with it..
