Why did she get Paddy Maguire addicted to Brown?

I missed the first 2 episodes of the new series of Shameless, where Paddy Maguire was holed up with that woman, who was injecting him with Heroin.

How did he come to meet this woman, who was she and why was she getting him addicted? I take it, it was as an act of revenge for something he'd done years before.

He met her at the cemetary where his son was buried and where her daughter was also buried.. It turned out her daughter was a herion addict who had o'd and died and Paddy M was her dealer - which was why her and her husband decided to give him the same fate..
