hi. what can i do to install vista from my support cd that came with my laptop, it is orininal. i keep getting error instalation code ox80070017 after trying to normally re-install. my laptop does support vista because it was originally its platform when bought new. other than a memory upgrade there are no hardware changes. this is a serious problem encountered by lots of users of vista . does anyone have a sure way of sorting this? many thanks. redken

This error related to Data reading problem with your vista Disk.
It might be possible that your vista disk has got scratches, which causes setup process not start.
Please make sure your Vista Disk is clean. You should also clean you DVD Drive lens.
