Broadband Internet

I am contemplating getting broadband. I know there are some relatively cheap options out there (provided you don't look too closely at the fine print of course) but I am prepared to pay extra for good service and customer care. Basically I would like to hear about other peoples experiences and get some recommendations before I make a decision. Thanks folks.

I was a 24/7 customer of Virgin and took part in their trial of broadband. I think I would shoot myself if I had to go back to dial-up. The service is excellent and I haven't needed to use customer care much, but have been very happy with it. I can thoroughly recommend them. [email protected]
