I hear this all the time when I go to my local oldies disco (that's over 35's, not OAP club!) and each time I keep forgetting to ask the DJ what it is.

Not a lot to go on, because I can only remember one lyric line, and even then I am not sure. Anyway, it's a female singer, and the line I remember is "a higher price to pay" or "too high a price to pay"

Tried gogling, just get a song called chocolate rain (it isn't that) so any help really appeciated. TIA

Cannot really describe genre, as it's basically a clubby, dancy tune.

Only other help I can give is that it is modern - probably 2 years old at most, cos I have heard it there before.
