OK so this is very gros indeed but there are some parts of Asia where they feed pigs raw sewage and these pigs are priced accordingly. but what i fail to understand is how exactly do they get nutrition and why doesnt it make them ill?

Pigs eat everything 'and' anything, even their own poo, which I believe is why muslins and jews dont eat pork, and you should make sure it is cooked thoroughly.
