This is an update for anyone that read or answered my post on the 31st. Well my period didn't arrive, so I did the test a few days later and it was positive!! I'm still in shock, as my husband and I were told we couldn't have children 5 years ago. I'm feeling fine apart from heavy breasts and the occasional sickness, but I do feel the odd twinge in my stomach. Is this normal? I have read that it's my stomach muscles etc making room for baby, but Im just really paranoid now, after all this time thinking it was never going to happen I don't want anything to go wrong now!!

Congratulations....you are all systems GO.
First of all Curly huge congratulations to you and your hubby.
Secondly I am in no way medically qualified but slight twinges are indeed common, but if anything is worrying you always seek proper medical advice.
Take good care and keep us informed.

Aww Thank You all for your lovely replies! xx
That is fantastic news curly13 - well done.

I was told I could'nt have children - then low and behold at the age of 35 I got pregnant - I always said it was because we had sex twice in one week (ha ha ha) !!

The best advice I can give you is - don't read too many books on pregnancy - just go with the flow and relax.

Congratulations xx i love reading about things like this ... relax and enjoy , your body is changing now dont forget ,so dont read too much into things xxx
Curly 13----so very pleased for you, have a safe and fit pregnancy and take care of all 3 of you .
