Mum and Dad set off for work and tell Little Jimmy there's a man calling about a loan and if he does little jimmy must say his dad's working at the docks earning �200 a week and his mam's scrubbing out at the factory on �100 a week

There's a knock at the door and Little Jimmy answers it to man in a suit with a clipboard.
'Hello son is your dad in?'
'No he's working at the docks on �200 a week'
'Well is your mum in?'
'No she's working up at the factory on �100 a week'
'ok, well when they get home will you tell them the man from the DSS called?'.

I also love the story of the docker who was in hospital swathed in bandages from head to toe. A crate of something has fallen on his hand.
He was scratching his head at the time!
