how long to drive..glasgow to inverness??

takes about 2hrs 20 mins from Stirling, that's not speeding and reasonable traffic - depends where from in Glasgow, but it takes us about 25mins from here to CostCo in St Rollox - so I would say AA are rubbish unless the calculate the 40 minutes you stop in Pitlochry for lunch! - I would guess 3 hours give or take - used to be able to do it from Edinburgh in 2 and a half. Had a friend whose Mum could drive from Strathpeffer, North of Inverness to Edinburgh in 1 hr 50 minutes (at night) - but she was totally mental and has probably lost her licence by now!
