I am going swimming with a group And I am wondering whether to buy a new swimming costume. I have one that has different shades of pink on it, this is fine when I am swimming privately but I think it may make me look larger than I am. Should I buy another costume? If so what colour would make me look thinner ?

Black is the most slimming of colours,,but any single dark colour should do,don't go for striped or checked as the lighter segments will make certain areas appear bigger...even if they aren't.
Costumes that really slim you down are the two colour-toned ones; a brighter colour in the middle and two darker on the outside like this ) (. Don't get anything tight hoping it will hold you in as it'll just show any bulges on the thighs and shoulders. Remember to hold your tummy in on the pool edge!!! (:-+)

the pink one I have is light pink in the middle with dark pink and white horizontal stripes at the side. Black sounds like a good idea.
You can't go wrong with classic black Bettyboo! It looks timeless and stylish on any woman :)

i will go get one today. I wouldn't be bothered if I was sswimming by myself but this is a group trip to the sandcastle in blackpool.
Nobody will care what you look like in a swimsuit at the sandcastle! all sizes of men and women go there in appropriate or inappropriate cozzies.lol
Have fun :)
Don't waste your money you are only going to be poolside for a moment, and who is going to look at you when I'm there in my backless , sideless ,frontless thong.!!!

Just enjoy your swim.
