I have got a photograph in a folder in "My pictures" and on the desktop. I double clicked on the folder, then clicked onto the photo. I clicked on "copy file" on the left hand side. My DVD-RW was already in the drive. A window came up saying "Windows encountered a problem". I got this same problem when I once tried to copy a whole folder of photos onto a disc. When I tried a CD, it just said that I didn't have a disc in the drive. Why is it so difficult to copy a photograph?

Can you write anything to CD or DVD?
Are you just clicking copy? I usually click send to cd/dvd.

I have also tried the option "send folder/file to CD/DVD" and I get the same response which is a window saying "Windows encountered a problem copying this folder/file". I click on retry and the same happens.

I am able to copy files from my word processor onto a CD, but even with some of them, I have had problems.
