Will people stop picking on this poor little Woman?

Some will play the 'race card' but now our Home Secretary plays the 'gender card'.
Just let me have a look at my cards:
White, Male, Old Person, no chance defiantly a losing hand no matter how I play them.

It's almost unbelievable, but then look at Ms. Smith's aproach to her job and its perks.
She has risen to the top of the Cabinet by dint of being hard-faced, and female, and now tries to volte face the whole notion by playing the 'poor female me' card.
That would be disgustingly santimonious for anyone .... except someone who systematically exploits the letter of parliamentary rules, whilst continually ignoring the planet-sized immorality of her claims and refusing to see why the British public find her actions so reprehensible.
Add to that being married to a man with the brass neck to claim for his pron entertainment from the tax payer, and you can see that she is, was, and always has been utterly unstuited to either post as Home Secretary, or as an MP - even though she will be loosing both posts in the not to distant future.
The rest of them simply carry on - and that is the deepest shame of all.

I have seen two TV interviews with her in as many days, and the interviewers just dabble with a couple of questions about her expense claims for flatscreen tv�s, expensive armchairs and some bath plugs, with an inane grin, let her ramble on about how she �understands people might be angry of her expense claims in the current climate� then thank her for her time.
Whatever happened to the proper grilling that MPs used to get when interviewed? It all seemed rather namby pamby to me. At least Thatcher stood against the challenges and had more balls, like a proper woman.

I don't think politicians of her ilk quite get it. Her denial only proves it. They are robbing the taxpayer of enormous sums and hiding behind unnaccountable cronies. Criminals have been jailed for doing far less. Why can't they use the same rules the rest of the population has to adhere to about working away from their real home.
What amazed me about the whole Jaqui Smith business was that it simply never occurred to her to pay for anything herself even down to bath plugs and cushions - I mean she was raking it in but wasn't even prepared to pay for the smallest of things..She had absolutely no shame at all whatsoever when it came to claiming money...She's just like those benefit cheats that never stop at one claim. But go on to get everything they possibly can out of the system..
I just dont like Amanda Platell - for some reason .
Incidentally , I think that part of the reason that she is having a go at the Home Secretary ; is because she doesn't like anyone in the labour government - full stop .
If some one had found a cure for the common cold , she would still find an excuse to criticise , if that person had a allegiance to the labour party .
