Hiya,

I'm hoping to visit the Edinburgh festival and fringe festival this coming summer. I was wondering if I bought tickets now in advance or whether it was good to just go there and try and pick up ticekts on each day judging by whats being plugged alot on posters and the streets?

Cheers

if you want to see the cambridge footlights revue, I would get the tickets in advance. It's always very popular. As for the others, I would buy them when you get to Edinburgh at the fringe office in the Royal Mile. There are more shows and tickets than there are punters and tickets are ALWAYS available on the day in question. Good luck and enjoy the festival.
If you want to see something like the Cambridge Footlights revue(which is always VERY popular) then just buy them on the day from the Fringe Box Office on the Royal Mile. There are always more shows and tickets than there are punters so you won't have any problem. Good luck and enjoy the Festival
you might want to plan accommodation in advance.
Why did one person just post two completely contradictory messages?!
Hi there Quizmonkey and Benjiman. I apologise for the confusion. My AB was playing up at the time, hence the double posting. I didn't realise that my second posting was actually incorrect so Thank you Quizmonkey for pointing it out. Yes Benjiman, go with my first posting. My apologies once again for the confusion.
