Why Is Real News Hidden Away ?

The Sunday papers are awash with photos and reports either of the funeral of a so-called "reality TV star" or with a WAG going to the Grand National.
Then, hidden away on an inside page, at the bottom, is a single column report of a young Asian man murdered yesterday by five other men in an alleyway in Slough.

The horrific details reveal that the pepetrators used either an axe or machete to disembowel their victim as well as hacking off two of his fingers.

Obviously not newsworthy enough to make the front pages!

heres a question.

if the queen dies tomorrow.
will it really impact on peoples lives any greater than jade goody dying did?

i suspect not
Everyone is going on about the papers not printing what you think they should and fair enough I too would like to see real articles being printed on the front page, but lets face it a woman attention would be caught by a celeb on the front page and a mans by some page 3 kind on image.

The newspapers (some) do print rubbish like WAG God knows who get a huge diamond ring... WHO CARES???

Or stick a blonde bimbo with 2 ballons stuck to her chess with a small speech bubbles mentioning what she thinks of the recession... WHO CARE??? as if she wrote that anyway...

We all complain but these newspapers are still being sold... so some reason it must be...

Sorry, but I'm hopeless at "links", but I read about it on page 17 of The Mail On Sunday directly underneath a large coloured photo of Coleen Rooney at the Grand National.

Mini headline: Gang kill youth in alleyway ambush.
