Tank pressure

I have a water tank which holds 5000 ltrs. when full. The dimensions are 2.1 mtrs high, 1.9 mtrs in diameter, I need to know what the pressure would be at the half inch valve at the bottom of the tank. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Volume is irrelevant in calculating the static pressure - it is determined by the height of the water.

If you indulge me using Imperial measurement then every 2.31 feet of water will exert 1 psi. Thus a full tank of water of height 2.1 metres (6.89') will exert a shade under 3 psi at the base.

{A check calculation using 9.81 kPa per metre of fresh water = 20.6 kPa (2.988 psi)}

Thanks Kempie, looks like I am going to need a pump to get a decent working pressure at an outlet 30 mtrs away.
That is presuming that the point 30 meters away is at the same height as your outlet.

You can of course add that height difference to the head of water you have in your calculation
