its hard to explain but if you put the palm of your hand on a flat surface with your middle finger bend under your palm and the rest of your fingers out stretched. you can't lift your wedding ring finger up but you lift your other fingers. and if you swap your middle andring finger so your ring finger is bent under, you can lift your middle finger.

i know its because they share a tendon or something but if it is why can you lift your middle when your rings fingers bent under but notthe other way round?

Those two fingers share a tendon between them, by bending your second finger the tendon is stretched and so you can't lift your ring finger.
