redeeeming vouchers in tesco

i read somewhere that it is possible to redeem sainsbury vouchers in tesco along with tesco vouchers for certain items regardless if yu buy them or not. does anyone know if this is correct

I have seen adverts outside Tesco advertising that they redeem Sainsburys vouchers. Dont know the details but I am sure customer service counter in Tesco will advise you.
