It seems that I may have downloaded a programme that has affected my laptop. When ever I open a page in Internet Explorer, for example a website on music, another page automatically opens up separately about Amazon.
Can anyone show me how I can detect and remove this programme? It got past my Norton Anti Virus so I'm assuming it's 'safe' but I wish I could get it off. Any suggestions please?

The Malware bytes programme worked a treat. In fact, it picked up things that even my Norton Anti Virus missed. Great programme to use and have - thanks for your help, Smith & Trish.
