We have just brought out a TV Programme and Film Titles quiz, of 50 cryptic questions.

It's to raise desperately needed funds for Hospice at Home in Huntingdonshire, a registered charity (no 1103680).

You can purchase the quiz on-line and return it by e-mail, if you so choose. It's just 1.25 for a few hours of fun and the knowledge that you are helping some well deserving people. There's also a 25 prize for the winner!

The address is http://www.hospice-at-home.co.uk/quiz.htm

Thank you.

How are you going to know everyone has paid for it as there is no number on it and I could now print several copies if I wanted to.
I presume you are going to check the email but just dont want you to be out of pocket

Perhaps needs thinking about
Can you get the quiz by post as I don't want to register with the paypal site?
You don't need to register. You can pay by credit/debit card from that link.
Sorry to be dim but what do I click on as I can't seem to find the quiz.
Click on the button that says "buy now"...
Thank you squarebear. Got it.

Thanks to all that have bought the quiz so far. Putting it on-line was a bit of an experiment so your comments about multiple entries are very useful.

Unfortunately, it isn't viable to number the downloads but I get a notification when anyone buys one, which gives their e-mail and IP addresses. All possible winning entries will be compared to the list (it will be easy enough to do this by sorting electronically or even manually, where necessary) .

I have now added the following note to http://www.hospice-at-home.co.uk/quiz.htm:
"Please ensure that you enter the same e-mail address on the completed form as the one used when buying the quiz as, if yours is a possible winner, the two will be compared."

The closing date of 31st May has also been added.
Can I get this by Royal Mail, do not want to pay on line in any way shape or form.
Hi H-at-H. When I eventually worked out how to pay and download (my fault entirely) I thought this was an excellent way of doing it. No sending money through the post and having to wait for the quiz to arrive. Good idea and well done!
Children of fiji have done o n line paymentslast few times but not paypal
I'll have to look out for theirs smouse. This is much easier for people, like me, who are housebound and don't want to keep asking people to post things for them. And emailing in the answers is so much easier.

Thanks for your kind comments, Jan1957. I'm glad you found the on-line quiz helpful. I'm a web designer (although I didn't design the Hospice at Home site) so I tend to think in terms of what's possible over the 'net and it was easier for me than most to set it up.

Cornelia 1 - I can understand your reluctance to give credit card details over the net but only PayPal have access to the financial information supplied. I have used their service countless times for on-line transactions and had no problems.

As Hospice at Home does not have premises I would have to give a private address to send payment by post. I don't want to publish that information here (besides, The Answer Bank recommends against it), so, regrettably, must forego your purchase. Thanks for your interest, though.
Thanks for replying.
Lots of the quizzes advertised on this site use private addresses so did not realise it would be a problem to you.
Still best of luck that you raise plenty of cash but feel sure it would be more if a contact address was given.

Hi Cornelia 1,
Thanks for your comments.
I'll give it some more thought and will post further details if we decide to open it up to postal applications.

Thanks for reply, will look out for it if you decide to open it to postal applications.
Better do it on a new thread if you do as this one may have disappeared by then, and it might create new interest.
Either way good luck and loads and loads of lolly for your charity.
