I have M-N-T. Is it Manet or Monet? I think Manet because of the acting reference, but what is the relevance of New York Opera?

Could it be Monet. Met as in squarbear's definition for New York Opera House. One as in act one. So, to me Monet sounds the better option, yet please wait for confirmation.
