my friend has a vectra gls and theres a puff of smoke on start up then goes it recently past mot with no mention it drives great should he be worried??

cold starting is common to smoke,even a lot of smoke can be caused by the car being on auto choke and the biggest reason is condensation build up in the cat con verter.no problem at all,even new cars do it
