Computer clock 2 hours forward!!

Has anyone else's computer clock moved forward two hours? Mine is now showing 10.28am!!

I find this time change confusing enough without my laptop conspiring against me too!

check your time zone is set to GMT, this should prevent the problem. Check via Control Panel and Date and Time Settings

Thanks for answering. I've just checked and it's set to GMT Dublin, Edinburgh & London. The box showing 'Adjust for Daylight Savings Time' is also checked.

Will I have to manually set the time to override it?

looks like it. Can't think why this happened. Change the time manually and hope for the best in October!!!!!

Thanks again. There is an option in the Time Zone tab to have it set to GMT 1+ but that doesn't include London as one of the cities.

I've re-set the clock now and the laptop is showing 9.58 so I'm sorted!

I've had it over 12 months and didn't have this problem on the previous two time-change occasions.... I've even accused my son of switching it as a joke to confound me.. lol... but he's denying it!

Same thing happened to me - never happenned for the 3 years I've had this setup

you can set the date and time from the control panel.

go to the control panel from the start menu.
select the date and time from the control panel.
set the time , set the date according to you .

click on OK and apply.
