When I try to source this crossword, I get an error message stating I do not have permission to access the page.

Has anyone else had this problem? I never had before. I saw some queries relating to this crossword so I'm assuming Prospect hasn't barred online access?

Thanks for any help/advice

It would seem that you now need to subscribe to the magazine to get access to the crossword.

I suppose it is not unreasonable for them to require that.

I guess you are right! Does anyone know of any other free prize crosswords available online?
The Spectator Magazine. There is a link here:

Hey thanks Rollo!
I think you have to subscribe to get the Generalist Crossword now. :-((

It's in the Prospect Magazine though Rollo not the Spectator.

Rollo was just pointing me in the direction of another free crossword ie the Spectator one. Having peeped at it though, it sure is going to make my head hurt!!
I think there may be an error on the site as the form for comments had an error message, and gave an email
[email protected] l sent an email yesterday so will let you know if get reply its ashame if no
longer available as a really good crossword

That would be really helpful Pega. Can you post a reply in this thread as/when you get an answer?

I agree, it's a brill crossword. I won the first time I entered - couldn't believe it! Allowing myself to try and see to three clues at a time in between mundane work tasks brightens up my day - yet not worth subscribing to the mag just for that. I wouldn't have time to read it anyway.

Thanks again :-)
Yes agree not worth the Mag but I did win it twice and did one for my sister and she won. I'll let you know if I get a reply a lot are disappointed as was always good to ask and get answers here some have asked for this months so they must get the magazine.

Won twice + sister? Hey well done :-)

I won the FT crossword once, then entered again two weeks' later and assumed they might not give me the prize again so I entered in my Mum's name and she won!

She lives in such a small village in Lancaster, her newsagent doesn't even stock the FT so had to order a copy in specially so she could see her name in print - now framed in her hallway!
