Indispensable Man

There is poem I came across some years ago on a training course about an indispensable man. Something to do with a bucket of water, putting his arm in and on removing it the water goes back to it's original level. This is all I remember. Can anyone help me with the words?

Found it. I'd rewrite it if I were you - I see what it's trying to say but I think it's too unkind to say "you won't be missed" :-( If it were well written it might bring comfort instead.
