how do i stop a programe starting up everytime iswitch on my pc?

Go to Start/All programs/StartUp, right klik mouse & delete program.

what program? most have someway of disabling loading at startup from their own options/settings

or if not, click start > run

type msconfig and hit enter, then click on the startup tab and look down the list and remove the tick from next to the program you don't want to start.
