Does anyone know where i can buy a tub of detergent Borax? I need it to get rid of some red clay stains on some washing and I thought Boots the chemist may sell it but they dont, neither does my supermarket, i can get it on Ebay, but didnt want the hassle of online shopping...
Thanks in advance.

my local Boots the chemist sold it so I will have to pop in on monday to see if they have stopped. I know you said you don't want the hassle of ordering online but there is this company selling it quite reasonably. dont know what they are charging for postage/packing though. have a look

hope this helps
'Old-fashioned' general purpose cleaning products, such as Borax, are often sold in DIY stores, such as B&Q. So it might be worth phoning round your local branches.

However your best bet (unless they've recently stopped selling it) is your local Wilkinson's store.

just to reply to Buenchico. Wilkinsons have stopped selling Borax - well my one has. Never thought about DIY shops. I will try my hardware shop in the village where I live
Why not try some soda crystals , very cheap
just use it with the normal detergent ,
