ffs...whats this all about?

went to my dads plot today at the cemetary and the vase which we had put there to place flowers in had been ''removed'' presumably by council staff,as had others arond his plot and flowers which other family members and placed in another vase had also been removed and just strewn by his grave....we are fuming....and as you can guess there is going to be fireworks at the cremetorium tomorrow.... i know there are rules and regulations but it was all neat and tidy surely they cant desecrate my dads grave like this.......

actually they can do whatever they like unfortunately. A lot of authorities only allow one flower container per grave - it's to do with keeping things neat and tidy and s0d the relatives......

That is awful for you stokemaverick :( I have read so much about graves been vandalised and flowers stolen etc, some people have no compassion.

my family are all cremated and we dont do graves

but i have seen some

welll i cant exactly describe them they have lights plastic storks and lots of trophy and memorabillia

sadly because of that i think theyve brought in the single vase rule


its the minority with these

and im not meaning to be disrespectful

but some trashy looking graves..


i think the authorities can impose more or less what they want there will be small print
youd need to take legal advice mate


but i think its sad but probably nothin you can do

thank you,craft and hasi,my mother and sister go there every week,it is all neat and tidy as i have said,if it were vandals who had done this all hell would have been let loose in our local press,it is official vandalism in my eyes,god help whatever ''jobsworth'' has to deal with me tomorrow.........
